Dynamic develops commercial, mixed-use and multifamily properties across the Western United States and Texas, from single-tenant retail and shopping centers to workforce housing, luxury rentals and projects that bring residential and commercial uses together. With experience spanning a wide range of property types and project scales, the team brings a practical, hands-on understanding of what it takes to move projects from opportunity to completion.
Across every project, the goal is the same: create thoughtful, enduring places that work for the people who use them and strengthen the communities around them. That approach comes from decades spent on both sides of the built environment, understanding not only how a project gets developed, but how architecture, planning, engineering and execution come together to make it successful.
History
Two family legacies. More than five decades of experience.
Dynamic’s story begins with two Los Angeles families whose work helped shape the company it is today. Damon Porter grew up around architecture through his father’s firm, Altoon & Porter Architects, where he learned how thoughtful design can enhance a community. He later worked alongside his father-in-law, Sam Bachner, at La Mancha Development, gaining an equally important education in the planning, engineering and execution required to bring complex developments from an idea to completion.
Those two disciplines, design and development, became the foundation for Dynamic Real Estate Partners. Founded in 1995, Dynamic carries that experience forward as a second-generation real estate company. Together with its first-generation predecessor, the team has delivered more than 1,500 projects and 7.5 million square feet of commercial, mixed-use and multifamily real estate. Today, Damon leads Dynamic alongside a team built around the same principles that shaped the company from the beginning.
